New York Fashion Week FW24 Ate...And Left No Crumbs
Or at least that's how the kids would describe the spectacular New York Fashion Week presentations and shows for FW24. Over 75 brands presented their autumnal collections in February. And while we're singing for summer, the dark hues and metallics that paralleled throughout different designer's collections have us in our cozy fall feels.
Here are a few standouts from NYFW FW24:
Melke
Designer Emma Gage of Melke presented a showstopping collection at the gorgeously lit Gary's Loft. The whimsical calls-to-action included a moment to crane and awe at the Empire State glowing down on the bow-tiful presentation.
There were bows galore, strawberries and a whimsical theme (in Melke fashion), "The Heist." While we didn't catch the rabbit on the loose, we sure caught feelings for Melke and the incredible collection.
Bibhu Mohapatra

Bibhu Mohapatra's FW24 show, set in the ornate The Pierre in the Upper East Side, matched the lavish hotel setting. The collection was inspired by Newton's Law, and was equally daring and authentic with gorgeous colorblocking and bold silhouettes. The tailoring on this collection featured big sleeves, draped shoulders, and meticulous hand-embroidery!
We're not exaggerating when we say our jaws were on the floor.
Bishme Cromartie
Talk about Hollywood glamour. The emerging designer included a classic mix of white, black, and red in this collection. Whether for a night out or a holiday fete, there were plenty of looks that'd make you feel like you're on the red carpet.
Speaking of celebrities, Nina Garcia made an appearance to support the former Project Runway designer's work.
Concept Korea
Sending your first models out on a skateboard is one way to grab attention! The three designers that presented at the Concept Korea runway screamed edge, yet each had their own voice.
SHOWNU offered a refined mixture of knitwear and tailored oversized suits. CHARMS might sound soft, but the all-black collection was designed with fearlessness in mind. The designers of Kimmy J. confirmed that athleisure can be functional and stylish without compromise.
